Kindly read the full advertisement to ascertain. Moreover, Candidates should be thorough in the Local Language where the Bank has predominant presence. So it is always advisable to apply from the State from where you belong to.

But I would like to stress again, "Read the complete advertisement before applying".

    Dear Admin,

I come to know about this in NABARD Notification , which is as follows

"There shall be no restriction on the candidate to appear in the interview only in the RRBs located in the state where he/she had appeared for CWE. However, the candidates may be required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies he/she wishes to apply, to be eligible as per the notifications of the Participating RRB. For ensuring proficiency in local language, the passing of 10th standard exam with local language as a subject, should be verified at the time of interview."

But this is not mention in IBPS notification. Whats your take on this??????

Kindly don't confuse IBPS CWE with the eligibility conditions of the Banks. CWE is just an exam and for that IBPS specifies the minimum conditions which candidates should satisfy to take the exam only. Additional eligibility conditions will be applicable at recruitment stage with each participating Bank.

I would advice you to appear for the exam from the state where you belong to. If you want to apply for a RRB in Karnataka, then it is definitely required that you know Kannada language as RRBs serve the rural people more than the metro people, this is very fair.
