SBI Associate Banks Probationary Officers Written Result - Reg

The written result of the State Bank of India, Associate Banks Probationary Officers Exam held on 07.08.2011, will be announced soon, probably this week.

A inquiry to the SBI CRPD through email regarding the result, has yielded the response as below:



Dear Sir/Madam


Result of written test for Recruitment of Probationary Officer in Associate Bank of SBI (written examination held on 07.08.2011) will be declared in this week & it will be available on bank’s website [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

It should not take more than 2 months and should be out anytime. But since the 19 Banks did not even start interviews for the POs (except for UBI), the result might be delayed. This is just my opinion, otherwise results should not take more than 2 months.

I doubt that. SBI has infact done some staff cutting by not recruiting the equal number of Officers who have retired or going to retire. Actually they have recruited many POs since 3 years and also in Associate Banks.

So I think, SBI will not come up with PO vacancies this year. But you never know, this Banking Industry is so dynamic and it might result in SBI recruiting more Officers.
